2. How We Use Your Personal Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- To register you as a new customer and verify your identity (KYC/KYB processes).
- To process and deliver your orders including managing payments, fees, and charges.
- To manage our relationship with you which will include notifying you about changes to our terms or privacy policy.
- To administer and protect our business and this website (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and hosting of data).
- To comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations.

We may share your personal data with the parties set out below for the purposes set out in Section 2:
- Internal Third Parties: Other companies in the Wallex Group acting as joint controllers or processors.
- External Third Parties: Service providers acting as processors who provide IT and system administration services, banking partners, and liquidity providers necessary to execute your transactions.
- Regulators: Professional advisers acting as processors or joint controllers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers; and regulators and other authorities who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.
4. International Transfers
As a global payment provider, we share your personal data within the Wallex Group and with external third parties (such as correspondent banks). This will involve transferring your data outside the country where you are located. Whenever we transfer your personal data, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:
- We will only transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data.
- Where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts approved for use which give personal data the same protection it has in its origin jurisdiction.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.
