No, investments in Money Market Funds are not capital guaranteed and are not insured by SDIC. However, MMFs are considered very low-risk investments as they invest in high-quality, short-term debt instruments. Negative returns are extremely rare in the history of SGD/USD MMFs.
What are the fees?
We charge a simple management fee that is deducted from the daily accrual. The rates shown to you (e.g. 2.5% p.a.) are typically net of fund-level fees. There are no entry or exit fees.
How fast can I get my money back?
Liquidity is T+1 (Business Day). If you submit a withdrawal request before the cut-off time (usually 10 AM SGT), funds will be available in your Wallex wallet the next business day.
